# UseNexusForGameBarEnabled 0: stop the Xbox controller button from opening Game Bar

**Short answer:** Pressing the Xbox button on a controller opens Game Bar by default. UseNexusForGameBarEnabled set to 0 turns that off, so the button is left to the game or to Steam. In the registry it sets UseNexusForGameBarEnabled to 0 under HKCU\Software\Microsoft\GameBar.
