# Disable Windows Recall: DisableAIDataAnalysis and AllowRecallEnablement

**Short answer:** Recall is the Copilot+ PC feature that saves snapshots of your screen every few seconds so you can search them later. DisableAIDataAnalysis set to 1 stops the snapshots, and AllowRecallEnablement set to 0 keeps the feature from being turned on. ## What it does

Recall is the Copilot+ PC feature that saves snapshots of your screen every few seconds so you can search them later. DisableAIDataAnalysis set to 1 stops the snapshots, and AllowRecallEnablement set to 0 keeps the feature from being turned on.
