# NvContainerLocalSystem and NVIDIA telemetry: which NVIDIA services can you disable?

**Short answer:** The NVIDIA driver installs container services that host the control panel, the NVIDIA app and telemetry. This tweak stops and disables the LocalSystem containers and the telemetry container. It sets the NvContainerLocalSystem, NvDisplay.ContainerLocalSystem, NvTelemetryContainer services to Disabled.

The NVIDIA driver installs container services that host the control panel, the NVIDIA app and telemetry. This tweak stops and disables the LocalSystem containers and the telemetry container.

In the app the switch is called "Disable NVIDIA Telemetry/Containers", described there as: Stops NvContainer/NvTelemetry services and prevents their background tasks.
